Missions

Grace Hill Church takes 10 percent of all donations to support missionaries and mission organizations all over the world. From Cokato to Minneapolis to Thailand and more, we are helping to spread the Good News around the globe. Check out our current list of Missionaries and Ministries that we partner with (*please note that missionaries in sensitive regions are not listed*):

Andria Jasper (Bethany College of Missions)

Originally from a small town in Michigan but in 2009 I moved to Minnesota to attend Bethany Global University. As a part of my degree I did an internship in Thailand from 2011 to 2012, after that I moved back to graduate from Bethany Global University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies and Bible Theology. I stayed in Minnesota working and waiting on the Lord to give me the next steps, always feeling a pull back to Thailand. In December of 2015 all of the pieces fell into place and I moved back to Thailand with Bethany Gateways to serve long term. I am now a Field Leader for our long term missionaries here in Thailand, as well as lead the internship program with Bethany interns, and work with Home of the Swallow a home for Thai women who have had unexpected pregnancies. I am passionate about equipping the Thai people to reach the Thai people, and helping to train up new missionaries to go to the least reached. I am in Thailand until the Lord directs me otherwise!

Born to blaze Ministries (carl anderson)

“To Empower & Equip Believers as Witnesses for the Savior, to Call People to Repentance, & to Inspire Passionate Discipleship as We Prepare for Christ’s Return”

Carl Wesley Anderson is the Executive Director of Born to Blaze and serves as an equipping evangelist and media missionary. His mission includes preaching and sharing messages which inform, educate, and challenge believers to go deeper in their relationship with God. It includes practical ministry in areas of prayer and helping people connect with the living God on a daily basis. This also includes the ministry of the Holy Spirit and helping people practice His gifts, and practice hearing His voice (the many ways God speaks). People gain more confidence in praying for others, especially in praying for healing the sick. Carl has produced a 7-Episode documentary film Series, (based on his book with the same title), called Love Speaks, and it is currently airing weekly in various countries on the TBN Family of Networks.

Franklin Avenue Mission

The Franklin Avenue Mission bring food and clothing to those in need in Minneapolis. Grace Hill participates in this mission on the 3rd and 5th Saturday of each month. Ron Olson and Randy Moe are members of the Grace Hill Church and have been involved with the Franklin Avenue Mission for years. Below is what Ron had to say about this mission.

“I was recently asked to write about the Franklin Ave Mission. It struck me that if we didn’t go down to Franklin Ave with a portion of the extravagant love that God has gifted us though Jesus Christ it would be just a empty black top parking lot. We bring light and life thanks to Jesus!

I prayed several years after we had begun going to give away food and then adding clothes and bibles, asking God if there was value to this Franklin Ave Ministry. A man I had been talking with for several Saturdays came back that same weekend I had prayed and thanked me for just talking with him. He said it kept him going for 2 to 3 weeks. I did nothing special, just talked. God answered my prayer through that man. Maybe we are answers to their prayers. One thing we know is that Jesus loves us and we are responding to that love by loving others.

Everyone is welcome to share, give, and receive.”

Kelly Gilbert (Mission quest)

Kelly has been serving in Arusha, Tanzania since late 2013 and is fluent in Swahili, the national language of Tanzania. Kelly works alongside a team of local Tanzanians and other international partners serving vulnerable and at risk communities. Her passion is to see children grow up in families, not orphanages and to build long lasting relationships within the communities she works and lives. She currently has two foster children in her home, both of whom are long term placements, along with her daughter. She also partners with an outreach in rural Masailand, serving families in the community and providing much needed infrastructural and nutritional programs at a government primary school.

Reaching the Lost & Strengthening the Church

We are serving with WorldVenture, preparing to join the ministry team in Austria. We will move to the northern suburbs of Vienna and partner with another family in church planting efforts, beginning with small group Bible discussion groups, primarily among young couples and families. We also will be partnering with a handful of existing Austrian churches to provide much-needed discipleship and leadership development. We will connect with Austrians (of whom less than 0.5% are evangelical believers), creatively and intentionally building relationships with men and women, drawing them in to genuine community where Jesus' love is lived out, and where discussions about spiritual truths can occur. Lastly, we will come alongside our kids as they learn to represent Jesus in their own spheres of influence. Prayer is essential for any of this work to succeed, so we commit to never stop praying for Austrian lives to be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ - and we ask you to join us in the battle!
